Any new features or tools that are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Once the website developer has begun to design the site, if the client commences the website design, any funds that have been paid up to this time are non-refundable. We offer quality, professional, custom web designs. We value our developers time and expertise.
Upon the development of the website, we will continue to provide hosting and maintenance for the website. Hosting will continue, provided the monthly fee is kept current. We will do monthly maintenance to keep the website updated. Should there be a request to no longer host the website, we will have your domain name transferred to your new hosting company.
Should you desire added changes or additions to your website, we welcome discussing this with you, and we will continue to provide quality service and great prices to you as a valued customer.
Hosting
Enjoy monthly hosting with Alexa Website Designs. Your website will be hosted and updated on a monthly basis when you keep it current. We will bill you for the upcoming month’s payment. After 3 emails that result in non-payment, your account will be suspended. Your payment being delayed or not paid after 5 days will result in your website being suspended. There is a $40 one-time fee plus renewal fees to restore your website. Your website visitors will not be able to view your website contents until payment has been made. There will be only 1 notice sent announcing payment delinquency.
Terms
By accessing the website at Alexa Website Designs, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained on this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Upon completion of the project, Alexa Website Designs transfers all rights and ownership of custom designs and programming written by Alexa Website Designs to the client. Software and third-party graphics or programs are not transferred to the client.
Ownership of all Alexa Website Designs programming remains with Alexa Website Designs and is not transferred to the client. Hosting of web properties will cease at the end of the payment period. The client will need to acquire or secure their own hosting and web design agency. It is policy that we do not provide instructions or web design for newly established website programmers for clients upon the closure of our services.
Disclaimer

Cancellation Policy
Web Development Payments for custom web development projects are made to us in increments as a courtesy to the client. Once a payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. If a project is cancelled or postponed, all monies paid are retained by Alexa Website Designs, and if applicable, a fee for all work completed beyond what was already paid for shall be paid by the client.
Chargebacks
If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute (i.e., PayPal dispute) from a credit card company or bank, your service and/or project will be suspended without notice. A $50 chargeback fee (issued to recover fees passed on to us by the credit company) plus any outstanding balances accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, files are delivered, or any further work is done. Instead of issuing a chargeback, please contact us to address any billing issues. Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from us is fraud and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund. Please read and make sure you fully understand our refund policy prior to making a payment.
Website Hosting Payments for past months of web hosting are non-refundable. Hosting accounts are set up at the time of order and are allotted a specific amount of server resources, according to the plan purchased. If the client did not make use of the account, payment for services is still due. Hosting accounts are not canceled until notice is received from the client in writing or until 15 days after the due date of payment is not received. If the client pays for a hosting account 6 or 12 months in advance and cancels service before the plan expiration date, a refund may be given for the months not yet elapsed. If the client received free products and/or services with their hosting plan purchase, the retail value of the free services will be deducted from the refund amount.
Should a client desire a cancellation, we will release any written content, images, and videos that the client provided in the design of the website. Due to our websites being custom-designed, any special-designed forms or features that were custom-formatted will not be transferable due to the special coding used to develop the website. The client is responsible for updating and keeping their domain current.
Alexa Website Designs reserves the right to disable and/or terminate a user’s account if a user is found in violation of the terms. Accounts terminated due to policy violations will not be refunded.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indiana, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.
Security for member accounts and passwords You will receive a password and member account designation once you are registered. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify OS of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. You agree to make sure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. OS cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.
NONE OF THE INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE USING THESE FEATURES IS PROTECTED BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO SUBMIT IN THESE FORUMS OR THE USE THERE OF BY ANY THIRD PARTY. You will need to contact or log into the third-party application if you want the personal information that was posted in the comments section removed.
